Chris, I reside in San Diego but born and raised in D.C. (Arlington, VA). I am a HUGE Redskin fan as well as a HUge fan of the late Sean Taylor. After is death I didn't think the Skins would EVER find a finer player as him, until you came along. I now can stop morning his death and focus and watch your amazing on field talent. Sean maybe dead but his soul somehow made it into your body, because you run like him, cover like him and sure as hell hit like him, I am truely happy that you are on "our" side.

Chris. Glad your having a good season, but don't you think charging people $99 to be in your "fan club" is $99 to much?

Clinton Portis doesnt charge $99 to be in his fan club, and he is, well, Clinton Portis.

Yo Chris, glad to see you're interacting now. I know I can't say this fully and have it mean anything, but I keep up with certain players in college, and aside from Kenny Phillips, you're the one safety from this draft who caught my eye all throughout college. They showed Horton highlights on SportsCenter a couple times when you finally got a chance to play and shined every opportunity you got.

I hope you get paid dude, but I hope you still play hungry when you are paid, because the game of football is about more than money. It's about playing as a team and finding ways to win the division, and hopefully get yourself a Super Bowl ring. Don't ever forget that.

Again, I know it probably doesn't mean a lot, but when they announced you as a Redskin (being a lifelong Redskins fan), I felt we made the right choice, and I know you feel we made the right choice.

I pray you stay healthy and have a lengthy successful career man. You've got the talent to be one of the best, just gotta stay focused. Been saying since the draft that the Skins made the best pick, and I hope that stays true. Dont want you feelin' like you're great yet... as Blache said, any rookie can have a good season... but great players make their name every down of every year. Just look at Fletcher for that.

BTW, I want to know if you've got any cornerback or safety idols? And is there anyone else at another position (maybe linebacker) that you might have idolized growing up?

Chris Horton...after you played so well in the HOF game vs. Indy I researched you and really became excited. Like a lot of people at this site Sean Taylor was my favorite player in the league. The entire league! I had Brady, LT, Adrian, Favre all to choose from and I loved Taylor21 above all. Landry is a beast and I hope you two grow into a feared safety duo that we were meant to have with #21 and #30. NOw its #48 and #30

Great start to your career. I love watching you play. You are EVERYWHERE on the field! Give Dallas hell! Another pick? Maybe a pick 6? That would be sweet.

Chris, just wanted to add to what everyone else has posted so far... First, know that you are now a member of the BEST organization in football, and you have certainly earned your place here with this team and this community. You play balls out every play and us fans notice that and love you for it. Keep up the good work; you truly seem like a guy I'm happy to call a Redskin, you're doing it on the field and appear to have a good head on your shoulders off of the field as well. Here's to a long career in burgundy and gold!

Chris,
I have to admit you remind me so much of the great #21. You play with the same tenacity as Sean Taylor. I see you out on the field and I swear it's like they switch Sean's number to #48, it's almost spooky but so true. I hope you stay with the Redskins for the rest of your career, Redskins are really lucky to recruit you and I hope they give you what you deserve to keep you. See you tomorrow kicking some Dallas ass, You're a good fit!!
